My goal for this episode is to inspire you to think about your business in a new way. Maybe you’ve been feeling stuck or overwhelmed, unsure of how to scale without losing the personal touch with your clients. Or maybe you’re just starting out and wondering how you can build a sustainable coaching business. Wherever you are in your journey, this episode is going to give you the clarity and tools to take your next step. Let’s dive in!

First off, let’s define what we mean by a lifestyle coaching business. A lifestyle coaching business is designed not just to help others achieve their goals—whether that’s in health, career, personal development, or relationships—but also to give you, the coach, the freedom to live the life you want. It’s about designing a business that aligns with your *values* and your lifestyle, not one that takes over your life.

So how is that different from traditional coaching?

Well, in traditional coaching, especially when you're starting out, it often looks like this: you’re doing one-on-one sessions, you’re working hourly, and you’re trading time for money. The challenge with that is your income is directly tied to how many hours you can work. You max out at a certain point, and eventually, you hit a ceiling. Not only that, but if you're constantly in session after session, it leaves very little time for anything else—your family, your personal hobbies, or even growing your business.

A lifestyle coaching business changes all of that. Instead of trading time for money, you're leveraging systems, automation, and scalable programs. You’re not just helping clients on a one-on-one basis; you’re creating group programs, online courses, and automated systems that allow you to serve more people without burning yourself out. The goal is to create a business that gives you personal freedom while still delivering incredible results for your clients.

So, let’s talk about the benefits.

1. Personal Freedom: Imagine waking up every day with the freedom to design your schedule. Whether that means taking a ski trip in the middle of the week or spending more time with your family, a lifestyle coaching business gives you that flexibility. Because you’ve set up systems that allow your business to run without your constant attention, you’re no longer tied to the traditional 9-to-5 grind—or even a full-time coaching schedule.

When I think about personal freedom, I often reflect on my own journey. Years ago, I was running a successful one-on-one coaching business, but I was exhausted. I had clients back-to-back, and while I was making good money, I didn’t have the time to enjoy the life I wanted. It wasn’t until I shifted to a lifestyle coaching model—where I could serve multiple clients at once and automate parts of my business—that I truly started to experience freedom. I was able to travel, spend time with my family, and still grow my business.

Benefit #2. Financial Security and Growth: Here’s the thing: when you're only working one-on-one, there’s a limit to how much you can earn. Your income is capped by how many hours you have in a day. But with a lifestyle coaching business, your income potential is uncapped. By leveraging group programs, online courses, and automated systems, you can serve *more* people without working more hours. That means your business can grow exponentially without you having to constantly hustle for clients.

One of the best examples of this is my client, Peter. Peter was a corporate consultant who wanted to scale his business, but he was worried about losing the personal connection with his clients. Through our program, he learned how to create a hybrid model that allowed him to offer high-tech automation while still maintaining a personal touch with his clients. Today, Peter is bringing in $20,000 a month—without working more than 30 hours a week. That’s the power of leveraging a lifestyle coaching model.

Benefit #3. Impact. A lifestyle coaching business allows you to make a bigger impact. When you're not bogged down by administrative tasks or constantly searching for new clients, you have more energy and bandwidth to focus on what really matters—helping your clients transform their lives. You can serve more people, create deeper connections, and make a lasting impact on their journey.

Jen, another client of mine, is a great example of this. Jen was already a successful coach, but she was burning out from all the one-on-one sessions. Through our program, she transitioned to a group coaching model and was able to double her client base while cutting her work hours in half. Not only is she making more money, but she’s also able to help more people without sacrificing her own well-being.

There are some incredible thought leaders out there who have written extensively on building a business that supports the life you want to live. One of my personal favorites is "The 4-Hour Workweek" by Tim Ferriss. In this book, Ferriss talks about the importance of working smarter, not harder. He emphasizes the power of automation and systems—two key elements of a lifestyle coaching business. Ferriss explains how you can design your business in a way that allows you to step back, live your life, and still grow your income.

Another great book is "Everything is Figureoutable" by Marie Forleo. Forleo’s message is all about mindset. She believes that with the right strategies and a positive outlook, you can overcome any challenge in your business. This aligns perfectly with the philosophy behind a lifestyle coaching business. It’s about simplifying, streamlining, and focusing on what truly matters.

To illustrate this, Let's talk about a few client success stories:

Jen had been running her coaching business for a few years when she hit a wall. She loved working with her clients, but the constant back-to-back sessions were draining her energy. She knew she needed to scale her business, but she wasn’t sure how to do it without losing that personal connection with her clients.

Through the Lifestyle Business Quest, Jen learned how to shift from one-on-one sessions to a group coaching model. She implemented our perpetual client system, which allowed her to automate her lead generation and client onboarding. Within just a few months, Jen went from struggling to fill her calendar to enrolling 10 new clients in her group program—and the best part? She had her weekends back. Jen’s income doubled, and she’s now running a $250,000 business while enjoying more free time.

Anna is a spiritual coach who had been struggling to build her online business for over two years. She had tried everything—courses, programs, marketing strategies—but nothing seemed to work. She was overwhelmed, frustrated, and on the verge of giving up.

When Anna joined our program, she quickly realized that the problem wasn’t her passion or her ability to help others—it was her business model. Through our step-by-step process, Anna was able to create a scalable online program that leveraged automation and group coaching. Within eight weeks, she had accomplished more than she had in the past two years. Today, Anna is running a business that brings in $10,000+ a month while working less than 20 hours a week. She’s no longer overwhelmed; she’s thriving.

Peter was a corporate consultant who wanted to scale his coaching business, but he was concerned about losing the personal touch that had made him successful. He didn’t want to turn his business into a cold, automated machine.

Through the Lifestyle Business Quest, Peter learned how to build a hybrid model that combined high-tech automation with high-touch service. He implemented our automated lead generation and client management systems while still maintaining personal connections where it mattered. As a result, Peter was able to scale his business and now consistently brings in $20,000 a month—without working more than 30 hours a week.

So, how can you start building a lifestyle coaching business that gives you the freedom, income, and impact you desire? Here are a few strategies to get you started:

1. Leverage Systems and Automation: The backbone of a successful lifestyle coaching business is systems. You need to set up automated processes for lead generation, client onboarding, and even parts of your coaching. Tools like automated email sequences, client management systems, and online course platforms can save you hours of work every week. The key is to set these up once and let them run on autopilot, giving you more time to focus on your clients and your life.

2. Shift to Group Coaching or Hybrid Models: One-on-one coaching can be rewarding, but it’s also time-consuming and limits your income potential. By shifting to group coaching or a hybrid model (like Peter did), you can serve more clients without increasing your hours. Group coaching allows you to deliver high value while leveraging your time, and hybrid models give you the flexibility to automate parts of your business while still providing personal support.

3. Use High-Touch Personalization Where It Counts: Just because you're automating parts of your business doesn’t mean you lose the personal touch. The secret is to focus your energy on the areas that matter most—like client onboarding, check-ins, or milestone celebrations. Personalization at key points in your client’s journey will help you maintain that deep connection while still running a scalable business.

4. Keep It Simple: I can’t stress this enough—keep it simple. One of the biggest mistakes I see coaches make is overcomplicating their business. They try to do everything at once, using too many tools, strategies, and techniques. The result? Overwhelm and burnout. Focus on the essentials: a clear offer, a streamlined process, and a strong client experience. Simplicity is the key to scaling without losing your sanity.

Now, I want to take a moment and ask you to reflect. Are you currently running a business that gives you the freedom and income you want? Or are you stuck in the cycle of trading time for money, constantly feeling like you have to hustle for the next client? Maybe you're worried about losing the personal connection with your clients if you try to scale, or perhaps you're just not sure where to start with automation.

Whatever the case may be, I want you to know that it’s possible to create a business that supports your lifestyle goals while still making a massive impact on your clients. It starts with taking that first step—whether that’s simplifying your processes, setting up automation, or shifting to a group coaching model.

Think about one thing you can implement today. Maybe it’s automating a simple task like sending out onboarding emails. Maybe it’s reaching out to potential clients about starting a group program. Whatever it is, take action today. Your future self will thank you.

Alright, let’s recap what we’ve covered today. A lifestyle coaching business is about more than just helping others—it’s about creating a business that allows you to live the life you want. It’s about leveraging systems, automation, and scalable models so you can serve more clients without burning out. The key benefits? Personal freedom, financial security, and the ability to make a bigger impact.

We heard incredible success stories today from Jen, Anna, and Peter—real people who transformed their businesses by embracing the lifestyle coaching model. Jen went from burnout to balance, doubling her income while cutting her hours in half. Anna broke through years of overwhelm and is now bringing in $10,000+ a month. And Peter? He scaled his business while maintaining the personal touch that his clients value, all while cutting back on his work hours.

The strategies we discussed—leveraging systems, shifting to group or hybrid coaching models, and keeping it simple—are all essential steps to building a business that works for you. It’s about designing your business around your life, not the other way around.
